Shipping & Returns

Shipping

Our workshop is in the Salento; our US operations are based in Florida. Orders ship from whichever location is closer to you.

  • North America (US, Canada, Mexico) — ships from Florida. Delivery within 3–5 business days for the US, 5–10 business days for Canada and Mexico.
  • European Union — ships from Italy. Delivery within 3–5 business days.
  • Rest of world — ships from Italy. Delivery within 7–14 business days.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your address and the weight of your order. For international orders, any duties, taxes, and customs charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our shipping price.

Made-to-order pieces — including all pochettes with a custom colour or monogram — are made in the Salento over two to three weeks. We will update you at each step.

Returns

We accept returns on ready-made pieces within 14 days of delivery, in their original condition, unused and in their original packaging.

To arrange a return, write to hello@ducali.example with your order number and reason for return. Return shipping is at your cost, unless the item arrived damaged or the fault is ours.

Made-to-order is non-returnable

Made-to-order pieces cannot be returned. Every custom piece is cut and embroidered specifically for you — colour, motif, monogram. Once your order is confirmed and work has begun, we cannot resell it. Please choose carefully; write to us before ordering if you would like a fabric swatch or a sample photograph of a colour or letter.

If a made-to-order piece arrives damaged, faulty, or does not match what was ordered, please write to us within 14 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and we will make it right.

Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 business days of us receiving your return. Depending on your bank, it can take a few further business days for the funds to appear on your statement.

EU consumer rights

Customers in the European Union have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU, which applies to ready-made pieces. This right does not apply to made-to-order items (Article 16(c): goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised).

Damaged or lost in transit

If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive, please write to us within 14 days of the expected delivery date. We will file a claim with the carrier and send a replacement or issue a refund at our discretion.
